1998 – several Math graduates of Novosibirsk State University decided to unite as one team of software developers, which was later employed by an American company called IWC (Interactive Web Concepts), and their team became IWC Russian Division. The developers – there were 5 of them at that time – worked on projects provided by the single client, IWC. It was the first step to create what became known as Key-Soft Ltd and later Sibers.

The beginning of 2000 – IWC was bought by 3COM Corporation and all employees of IWC Russian Division became official contract workers of the established corporation.

Spring 2001 – the Russian team became an independent offshore software development company called Key-Soft Ltd. There were about ten employees at that time.

August 2001 – Key-Soft registered its Elance profile and started to compete with large established software companies of India.

October 2001 – first $700-worth project at Elance was completed, with positive client’s feedback.

2005 – Key-Soft created its' virtual service outlet called HireRussians. This brand was performed to unite a circle of Russian software developers. On HireRussians.com you can find detailed information about services and technologies that we together with our partners use in software development. The company started to grow rapidly at the same time extending the sphere of its interests. Following ISO (International Standards Organization) and CMM (Capability Maturity Model) standards Key-Soft have successfully delivered hundreds of projects for retail, oil/gas, security, finance, real estate, health care industries, education and entertainment for kids and adults.

2006 is the year of Sibers' birth. We have entered this era with 70 employees and continued to grow by widening our field of competence and improving our professional skills. In 2006, we earned our first million dollars at Elance and became a top provider.

Now Sibers' staff counts 100+ employees and throughout the history, Sibers accomplished over 800 projects for small and medium sized businesses all over the world.
