The site was designed as a service site for vacation rentals. Here customers can easily find a place where they can spend their leisure time. This site offers a really large database of vacation rentals and Sibers provide a powerful content management system and an unique interactive flash map, so all these services are at your full disposal.
This interactive flash map of Hilton Head resort shows: vocational rentals, new homes and communities, timeshares, restaurants, bike trails, hotels, shopping centers and so on. The map has many layers and when you click on one of the areas it "lifts up" with all the necessary information on it.
Features list
The main feature of the site is the site content management system that was specially developed for this particular site. Also we developed an interactive flash map using up-to-date flash technologies. The central parameter of the search is an item, which is a basic unit for everything you see. The item means either a real estate or a restaurant.
Every item has its own characteristics such as location, address, price, etc. The flash map and the content management system use items as a central element to give information to users.
There were no existing solutions on the market when we started to develop it.
In order to meet our client’s high requirements, we decided to offer our brand new framework Sophit, which occurred an ideal solution for these purposes.
