"Sibers is a global distributed software development company with legal headquarters in Los Angeles and a main engineering hub in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan. We help startups, product companies, and established businesses design, build, and evolve software products: web, mobile, and desktop applications, business automation solutions, and complex, long-living platforms.
We’ve been in the market since 1998 and over the years have delivered more than 1,700 commercial projects for clients in North America, Europe, and Australia. Sibers has been privately owned and managed by its founders since day one, which keeps our strategy, culture, and commitments consistent over time. Our team includes around 150 full-time specialists covering the full delivery stack: analysts, UX/UI designers, web and mobile developers, QA engineers, DevOps, and project managers. A large share of our workload comes from repeat customers, and a noticeable part of new engagements arrives through referrals — long-term cooperation and trust are at the core of our business model.

Sibers founders in 1998
Sibers is remote-first by design. Our Bishkek office is the main engineering hub and a place where teams meet, learn, and grow together, while many colleagues work from other countries and time zones. This distributed setup allows us to assemble project teams quickly, combine different technology and industry backgrounds, and stay flexible in terms of workload and schedules — without sacrificing consistency, transparency, or delivery quality.
For our clients, outsourcing to Sibers means extending their own development capacity with a stable, predictable partner. We focus on security, clear communication, and careful integration into existing processes. Our teams can work as a stand-alone remote development center or as a seamless extension of an in-house department, sharing tools, ceremonies, and engineering standards. Thanks to the broad internal knowledge base we’ve built over the years, we can ramp up a project team quickly and keep budgets efficient.
The COVID-19 pandemic and subsequent relocation waves only strengthened our way of working. Many of our engineers moved with their families to Bishkek, and others chose a fully remote or digital-nomad lifestyle in different parts of the world. This experience forced us to refine our coordination practices, documentation culture, and tooling so that distributed teams remain cohesive, predictable, and comfortable to work with — regardless of where each team member is physically located.
Our story began much earlier, though. Sibers was originally founded in Akademgorodok, the “town of academics” near Novosibirsk, where generations of engineers grew up on mathematics, algorithms, and real-world software projects. From that environment came our first team of classic Russian programmers who started building software for international clients back in the late 1990s. Today most of that team has relocated, our geography has changed, and we’ve become a truly global company — but the engineering culture formed in those early years still defines how we think about code, teamwork, and long-term responsibility for the products we build."
